Fire crews have battled a house fire in the Auckland suburb of Mount Albert this evening.
Four fire trucks were called to Asquith Ave about 8pm where a fire had started underneath a single level home.
Fire and Emergency communications shift manager Megan Ruru said the blaze was also in
the wall cavity and covered a 8m by 10m space.
All people in the home were accounted for.
The roof was being removed to help with ventilation but it wasn't clear whether the fire had been completely doused, Ruru said.
