Two Auckland suburbs are without power after crashes this morning.
A truck became stuck in powerlines on Clevedon-Takanini Rd about 8.40am and the road has been closed.
The driver of the truck, which hit the lines between Papakura-Clevedon Rd and Parish Line Rd, is out of the vehicle and not seriously injured.
Contractors are on the way to shut off the power and extricate the truck. The road could be closed for up to an hour, police said.
Another person was trapped after a crash north of Auckland.
Fire service northern communications shift manager Karen Larking said two cars had collided on Postman Rd, Dairy Flat about 8.10am.
The crash, near Wilks Rd, also cut power to that area.
Firefighters worked to free the trapped victim.
Larking did not know if anyone had been injured.
Meanwhile, one person is injured after a bus and two cars crashed on Auckland's Tamaki Dr about 9.10am.
