Three heavily disguised offenders, one armed with a screwdriver, have robbed a dairy in West Auckland.
Police are investigating the aggravated robbery that occurred at the Waitakere Township Superette about 2.40pm in broad daylight yesterday.
The offenders took cigarettes and the till which contained an undisclosed amount of cash.
The shop attendant was unharmed.
Police said the offenders fled the scene in a stolen black Subaru Forester, registration KFG870, which has not been found.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or has information which may help with the investigation.

They have taken cigarettes and the till which contained an undisclosed amount of cash.
The offenders have then fled the scene in a stolen black Subaru Forester, registration KFG870 which is still outstanding.
