A Wanganui man turned up at a house for a fight, wielding a machete and yelling for the occupant to front up ... before running off when he realised he'd got the wrong house.
Unfortunately for Jason Patrick Anderson, he fled leaving his car in the driveway.
Anderson went to the house and got out of his car carrying the machete and calling out a man's name, telling him to come out, Whanganui District Court heard yesterday.
He struck the resident's car with the machete and damaged the tail lights, police prosecutor Sergeant Rachel Willemsen said.
Realising he had the wrong address, Anderson dropped the machete and ran away.
