Two men have appeared in court facing 64 joint charges relating to skimming ATM machines across Auckland.
The two accused allegedly stole more than $500,000 using counterfeit bank cards between late February and July this year.
Ivaylo Valchev Terziivanov, 27, and Martin Dane, 28, appeared before Judge Gerard Winter in the Auckland District Court today.
The pair were charged by police following an investigation by the Financial Crime Unit, Wellington District Police and various banks.
Their charges are made up of 54 counts of using counterfeit bank cards for personal gain, nine of illegally obtaining a document, and one of possession of implements for forgery.
