More lava lamp arrests

Police investigating the alleged importation of illegal drugs inside lava lamps have made three more arrests.

They have also learned that a further 30 lava lamps believed to contain 9kg of the drug crystal methamphetamine were imported into the country.

Three Asian men have appeared in the Auckland District Court charged with drug-related offences. All three were remanded to reappear later this month.
