More discounts for pensioners

A new SuperGold Card directory has been issued to more than half a million pensioners.

It contains more than 850 business partners offering a variety of discounts, Associate Senior Citizens Minister Winston Peters said yesterday.

Benefits in the pipeline include free off-peak travel for SuperGold Card holders on public transport, which is budgeted to cost $72 million over four years.
