Police searching for missing Auckland man David Benney found his body last night in the Waitakere Ranges.
Police say his death was not being treated as suspicious and the matter had been referred to the Coroner.
Police have extended their sympathies to Benney's family and friends.
Benney, 29, was last seen on Piha Rd, Waiatarua, at approximately 7.45am last Thursday.
Police appealed to the public on March 20 hoping to speak to anyone who had seen or heard from Benney.
