A man has received serious injuries after falling 5m through a roof in Puketapu.
The 48-year-old man was airlifted to Hawke's Bay Hospital by the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter about 12pm.
St John Hawke's Bay acting districts operations manager Brendon Hutchinson said the man had received serious head, shoulder and chest injuries after falling 5m through a roof.
A road ambulance attended the scene and transported the man to the rescue helicopter, which had landed in a nearby paddock.
A hospital spokeswoman said the man was in a stable condition.
