An opportunity is available to join the OPAC team that prides itself on growing, harvesting, packing and cool-storing exceptional quality kiwifruit for supply through Zespri to export markets around the world. With a large post harvest operation in Opotiki we provide orchard to market services tokiwifruit growers in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, and Te Puke areas.
We are currently have two permanent vacancies for Inventory & Export Coordinators to join our team. Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager the Inventory & Export coordinators will be responsible for the dispatch of all classes and varieties of kiwifruit from OPAC sites in accordance with company and Zespri requirements. This is an important role assisting in the management and optimisation of the supply chain logistics and fruit management functions. Working closely with other operations teams including production, quality and coolstore areas, you will ensure that OPACs fruit inventory management systems achieve the best result for OPAC and OPAC growers.
Key requirements of these roles: Proven leadership and communication skills A demonstrated ability to train, supervise and lead staff Self motivated, with the ability to work autonomously Good computer skills (Outlook, Word and Excel) Inventory management experience in a primary industry environment is desirable however not essential Attention to detail and excellent planning and organisational skills
