ROAD CLOSURES
The Khyber Pass Rd on and offramps, parts of Khyber Pass and Boston Rds, the link from the Northwestern to the Southern Motorway, the Symonds St onramp, the Gillies Ave onramp northbound and the Wellesley St/Port offramp will all be closed between 8pm and 6am
until Thursday.
ON THE RANGES
The Waitakere City Council is holding talks on the protection of the Waitakere Ranges. The next session is in the Waitakere Community Hall, Bethells Rd, Waitakere township, at 6.30pm today.
GLEN INNES CHANGES
Glen Innes will be redeveloped, and revitalised as well, and Auckland City has drawn up a strategy.
Copies of the plan and comment forms are available at the Glen Innes Community Library, 108 Line Rd, the Panmure Community Library, 7-13 Pilkington Rd, the Central City Library in Lorne St and the council building in Greys Ave.
Council staff will be on hand to answer questions from 9am to 4.30pm tomorrow at Glen Innes library. Submissions close on November 30.
INFORMATION BUS
The Eastern Transport Corridor information bus is doing the rounds.
It will be parked outside the Panmure Community Library from 10am to 1pm today, and then moves to the Meadowbank Shopping Centre in St Johns Rd, outside the ASB, from 4pm to 7pm today.
Tomorrow you will find the bus at the Glen Innes Community Library from 10am to 1pm, and at the Remuera Rd shops from 4pm to 7pm.
BRIDGE TO ONEHUNGA
Public consultation has started on Transit New Zealand's proposal for another motorway bridge on State Highway 20 over the Manukau Harbour, between Mangere Bridge and Onehunga.
An open day begins at 3pm tomorrow in Mangere Bridge School, Coronation Rd, where plans will be on display for comment and discussion.
