Hunter rescued from Orete Forest

An East Cape hunter was treated for mild hypothermia today after he was airlifted from Orete Forest, where he had spent two cold, wet nights.

Wiremu Nama, 26, of Waihau Bay, became separated from his father while they were hunting on Saturday afternoon.
