New Zealand's official history of World War II - all 50 volumes of it - is about to be placed on the internet.
The online edition will be launched at Victoria University on Wednesday by Prime Minister Helen Clark.
The project, managed by Victoria University's New Zealand Electronic Text Centre, has digitised all the volumes of the official history. The 25,764 pages of text and thousands of photographs and maps include accounts of battalions, and campaigns.
