"Some patronise me and treat me like I'm stupid. I tried standing up to them and talked back. But it just got worse."
Her family home was her only "safe place", she said, and her immediate family and grandparents the only people she trusted.
"It's when I'm not at school - that's the only time I actually feel good about myself now and I know I have to keep my grades up for next year but it's so hard to keep your mind on studies when you're hurting."
The girl has begun to lose grip on her subjects and blames the prolonged bullying for her plummeting marks and poor class performance.
"I'm actually finding it really hard to keep learning and I see bullying happen to other kids too," she said.
"They [the bullies] need to stop because they don't know the harm they cause and how they're affecting people's lives."
The girl's mother said she complained to college staff this year about the prolonged bullying, but the victimisation had continued unabated. The girl's grandfather complained to the school again last week.
Her mother said: "She's a good kid and we just want the bullying to stop."
The mother of another Chanel College girl, 16, said she was also harangued by the bullies when she went to the school to complain on her daughter's behalf.
"I couldn't believe it. These kids were in school uniform on school grounds and they started yelling at me. Unbelievable."
The 16-year-old became the target of an all-girl group of bullies about two months ago.
She said she had been shoulder-barged and threatened with more violence after being accused of "talking about them, which I hadn't".
"One of them charged at me and a teacher and another student separated us. It was embarrassing. We each had to write an incident report to the deputy principal and that girl apologised to me, which I accepted."
Bullying from the rest of the group continued, but waned after her mother laid a complaint.
The girl said she "feels safe for now" but remained unsatisfied with the school's handling of the matter.
Her mother had considered laying an assault charge and warned school staff that she would do so if the bullying was not stopped.
Chanel College principal Grant Miles said he could not respond to specific incidents because the matters were being investigated.
