Fire crews have contained a blaze which engulfed an apartment building in the Auckland suburb of Onehunga tonight.
The "well-involved fire" was on the second floor of a two-storey apartment building.
Six fire trucks and around 30 fire crew members were at the scene.

The fire broke out at around 7:40pm.

Advertise with NZME.At about 9:20pm a fire and emergency service spokesperson has confirmed the fire is now contained.
Police believe all residents are out of the building and a spokesperson said there are no reports of any injuries.
Smoke had spread through Onehunga as a result of the blaze, residents said.
