Fake Beyblades seized

Beyblades, the hottest toy for Christmas, have just become hotter with the High Court issuing orders allowing for the search and removal of counterfeit product. Lawyers for Hasbro NZ acting on the orders have seized 40,000 fake Beyblades during raids on 27 locations in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Aussies buy the Topps The Topp Twins comedy show has been bought by Australia's state broadcaster. The ABC deal is included in a package of comedy programmes sold across the Tasman. Stand-up series Pulp Comedy will be aired on pay television's Comedy Channel. An ABC spokeswoman said the Topp Twins had a following through their live club shows.
