Cross Country Rentals Eketahuna will be seeking revenge when they meet Wainuiomata in a Wellington premier division women's rugby match at Eketahuna tomorrow.
The two sides last met at the very start of the 2012 season and a depleted and under-prepared Eketahuna side were on the end of a narrowdefeat.
Since then, however, it has been Eketahuna who have shown the more consistent form, moving into a clear second place on the Fleur Trophy points table behind unbeaten Northern United.
It would be wrong, however, to rate Eketahuna as a home run as Wainuiomata have a strong pack who will look to control the forward exchanges with the idea of stifling the proven attacking qualities of the Eketahuna backs. How Eketahuna copes with that challenge is likely to decide their fate here.
Overall it will be a relatively quiet day on the club rugby front in Wairarapa-Bush tomorrow.
No premier division or senior reserve men's matches were scheduled because of the clash with the Wairarapa-Bush v Horowhenua-Kapiti match at Westpac Stadium although the Eketahuna and Tuhirangi senior reserve sides will play a catch up game.
The inter-club draw for tomorrow is:
