A male driver was arrested after smashing into two cars and almost a building on Ngaumutawa Rd around lunch time yesterday.
The man was driving north when he went across the centre line, crashing into two cars parked outside the Masterton Indoor Sports Centre, and smashing through the walled garden of a building on the corner of Papawai Place.
Wairarapa Police Senior Constable Harvey Pope said they discovered the man was a disqualified driver.
"He has been arrested and taken back to the station."

The driver was probably stopped from crashing straight into the building by the walled garden, he said.
"I think the wall's spun him around."
Mr Pope said the man was not hurt and nobody else was injured.
The two cars parked on the side of the road, a Holden Commodore and a Ford Courier ute, had been for sale.
Glynn O'Hara, the owner of the damaged Holden, was at his workplace in Papawai Place when the crash happened.
He did not witness it but someone rang to alert him. He said it was "a bit of a bugger" but things like this happened.
"The driver's a bit of an idiot."
