Deluge causes flash floods in Dunedin

A 20-minute deluge in Dunedin last night flooded roads, central city shops and businesses and sent emergency services into a spin.

The rain blocked stormwater drains and guttering, collapsed the ceilings of at least two city businesses and sent water flowing through dozens of buildings.
