Dalefield will be looking to continue their improved form of recent weeks when they play competition leaders Hutt in a Wellington premier division men's hockey match at the National Hockey Stadium in Wellington tomorrow. The last time these two teams met Dalefield were handed a 10-1 beating but under the coachingof Mark Fenwick they have made good progress despite still waiting to break their "duck" on the points table. Although losing against second-placed Indians last weekend, Dalefield could take heart from the fact they created a number of good scoring opportunities through the course of the match. Fenwick is keen for his side to adopt an attacking stance and players like Greg Mason and the Ewingtons, Geoff and Andy, have been responding well to that challenge. The Dalefield women's team also play Hutt in a Wellington premier division game tomorrow and they too are still looking for their first win of the season although they have managed a couple of draws. With Hutt sitting just one place ahead of them on the competition table this is a game which Dalefield can seriously target as a winning possibility and, like their men, they will have been encouraged by the improved form they have shown in recent times.
