Police are concerned for the well-being of a Christchurch man who has been missing since early yesterday.
Matthew James Adams hasn't been seen since he left his home to drive to the West Coast.
The 29-year-old is 165cm tall, of thin build and with blonde/brown hair.
Acting Senior Sergeant Wayne Corbett of the Tasman Police District Command Centre, said Mr Adams was driving a blue 2006 Mazda Axela hatchback, with the registration JCJ462.
"Matthew is believed to be heading towards the West Coast and was last known to be in the Arthurs Pass area. His family are worried and we'd like people to keep an eye out for him or his car."
