An Auckland mother who turned down $5000 reparation from the man who sexually abused her daughter is overwhelmed by anonymous cash gifts of more than $2000.
Three donations totalling $1200 have been received by the Herald since one person sent $1000 for the single mother.
"There's some lovely people out there," she said.
