The second man to walk on the moon is in good hands at Christchurch Hospital - he is being cared for by David Bowie.
A Canterbury DHB doctor with same name as the musical legend is treating Buzz Aldrin.
Bowie, the singer, was famous for his space-themed music, releasing albumssuch as Space Oddity, which was released five days after the Apollo 11 launch, and Ziggy Stardust. He died from liver cancer in January 2016.
