A Wellington bus depot has been the target of an early morning arson for the second time in six months.
Fire fighters were called to the Karori bus depot on Darwin St about 3am after several members of the public called 111, Central Communication Fire Service shift inspector Mike Wanoa
said.
Three buses were alight, and it took three fire trucks to extinguish the blaze by 3.30am.
"It was an arson attack,'' Mr Wanoa said.
In November, four Go Wellington buses in the depot were completely destroyed by a suspicious fire. Another two were also damaged.
