Auckland City Council miss deadline for historic makeover

The Auckland City Council has failed to meet a March 31 deadline for the $200 million heritage makeover of 17 neglected historic buildings and spare land at Britomart.

The council has been in talks with the international Bluewater consortium to transform the area into an urban village of apartments, offices, cafes and restaurants.
