A man has been arrested for indecently assaulting a rail commuter on the Kapiti Coast.
The incident happened on November 3 at the Plimmerton Domain and police said today they had arrested a 26-year-old man.
Detective Senior Sergeant Grant Ferguson said the female victim was walking alone from the Plimmerton
train station.
She was followed by the alleged offender for a short distance before being indecently assaulted.
"The arrest follows sound investigative work by Porirua police staff, sharing intelligence and working together," Mr Ferguson said.
