In the video to his perennial hit Loyal, Dave Dobbyn - complete with mullet and alarming jersey - wandered around as a house was being packed up around him.

This time, for his latest song, Dave is standing still as a house is being built around him.

That's the concept of the video of Tell the World, the first single off Dobbyn's new album Harmony House which is due out in March, 2016

"Tell The World is a song written whilst lucid dreaming," says the singer-songwriter.

"I get a lot of ideas that way. The verse is like a chorus already, but the chorus arrived in a flash a few weeks later and wouldn't go away. It had to be a declaration and it had to have a sense of place."

The track is the first fans get to hear of Dobbyn's collaboration with Samuel Flynn Scott and Luke Buda of the Phoenix Foundation who came in as producers on the album.

The clifftop video is directed by Karl Lear.

"Sam and Luke loved it from the start so recording it was a quick, generous process.

"I'm very happy with the video. Nothing like working on a cliff edge to keep you on your toes."
