Every Christmas New York woman Carol Suchman donates toys to some of the city's poorest kids via the Department of Homeless Services.
This year she has gone one better and bought a whole toy store.
The inspiration struck when she walked passed the closed down Hudson Party Store in the
city's West Village and saw the For Rent sign in the window.
She contacted the owner and "we talked and negotiated and I bought the entire toy store," she told NY1 television news.
The store's stock included thousands of toys and stuffed animals, and boxes of school supplies. They were all bagged up and donated to the city's Department of Homeless Services.
