Tarantino doesn't quash Uma Thurman relationship rumour with

Quentin Tarantino hasn't exactly killed those rumours that he and Uma Thurman advanced their relationship past the friendship stage during filming of Kill Bill, reports USA Today.

"I'm not saying that we haven't, and I'm not saying that we have," the director said at the DVD release party in Los Angeles for Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation.

"We love each other, but we're almost too close now to be a couple. We had our life together on Kill Bill. It was like a marriage in every way."

Despite recently declaring his joy for Thurman's new relationship with hotelier Andre Balazs, the eccentric Pulp Fiction film-maker was rumoured to be dating the blonde bombshell after her marriage to Ethan Hawke dissolved last year.
