Jane (Ashley Judd) works for a TV talk show, booking guests for megalomaniac host (Ellen Barkin). Ray (Greg Kinnear) also works for the show. Sparks fly between the two.
When they think of moving in together, Ray gets cold feet and runs back to his old
girlfriend. Eddie (Hugh Jackman) also works for the show, and is an unrepenting womaniser. Jane shares an apartment with Eddie and refines her theory that men are like cattle.
