Someone does you a good turn. You pass it on or "pay it forward" to three other people. who then pass it on, etc, etc
Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense) stars as Trevor, whose solo mother, Arlene (Helen Hunt), is a Vegas
cocktail waitress and recovering alcoholic.
Trevor likes his new teacher, Mr Simonet (Kevin Spacey), whose face is badly burned. Mr Simonet wants his class to "think of an idea that could change the world." Trevor thinks and before long his mother discovers a homeless man (James Caviezel) living in their garage.
Good performances from Spacey, Hunt and Osment but the convoluted plot gets in the way a bit.
