Patrick Fugit the rising star

Teen actor Patrick Fugit grew up - literally - on the set of his new film, Almost Famous. H

He grew 8cm while the movie was being shot.

Fugit, aged 17, who stars as a budding rock journalist, had his costumes extended several times.

And as the film progressed, co-star Billy Crudup - originally the same height as Fugit - had to wear platform shoes.
