Grab the tissues as you won't be able to fight back the tears after seeing this adorable baby girl hear her sister's voice for the first time.
Baby Scarlet was born three months premature and developed a stomach infection.
Her mother Carol Benjamin had to make the decision to treat her with antibiotics and while it cured her infection, it impaired her hearing, necessitating hearing aids.
The adorable 11-month-old girl has now been fitted with the devices and her family captured the touching moment she reacted when hearing her older sister Halie's voice clearly for the first time.
As Scarlet sits on her mother's lap, Halie, 4, stands by her side repeatedly saying "Baby sister" until she reacts.
Staring intently into her older sister's face, Scarlet then becomes awash with joy erupting in uncontrollably giggles from hearing Halie's voice.
The little girl's sounds were so cute the rest of the family started laughing, with her mum caught between laughter and tears.
"Oh my God," the emotional mother said as Scarlet continued to laugh throughout the entire home video.
"It has been a LONG and emotional experience," Ms Benjamin posted on her Facebook page. "She reacted to most sounds so we thought she could hear fairly well. After what I witnessed today, it was not as well as I thought.
The grateful mother said the hearing aids make a world of difference and went on to thank Atlanta Hearing Associates in Milledgeville for all that they have done for Scarlet.
"Anyway, enjoy one of the absolute best days of our lives. By the way, I'm crying, you're crying, everyone is crying," Ms Benjamin said in her post.
It has since been shared more than 1200 times with friends, family and strangers leaving comments of support.
"I am sobbing with tears of joy. God is great! Best wishes for a lifetime of hearing and joy for all of you!" one user said, while another added, "This is so great! Her laugh is so wonderful! So happy for her and you!"
