Landlord's creepy condition shocks renters applying for tiny room

An advertisement for a room in an Australian share house has left potential renters in complete shock after it was revealed to have a creepy catch.

The landlord listed the room for rent for $123 on social media, aiming the post at shift workers.

A photo of the tiny room shows a single bed with a sign above it saying "bed 6" next to what appears to be the house rules scribbled on the wall.

But that isn't the worst of it, people soon realised that the reason the landlord wanted shift workers was because tenants were expected to share a bed.

As one renter woke up for work the other would be going to sleep, meaning they rotated using the tiny bed.

"Rooms to rent. Available. Two night time workers, two day time workers. Message for more details, ideal shift workers," the post read.

"If you no someone looking let em no we have this available."

The ad was shared to the Kmart Unhacks & Roasts Facebook page and people were understandably horrified by the offer.

"Sharing bedsheets with a stranger…. Nahhh, I'll pass," one person said.

"I can smell that from here," another said.

Others slammed the ad as "creepy and disgusting", with some claiming it looks like something out of a horror movie.

One person questioned what would happen when they have days off.

"What happens when they have the same day off and both want to sleep?"
