Bands go live on Internet

Three concerts by New Zealand bands at Queenstown this week are being broadcast live on the Internet.

The bands are performing in the Kiwi Fringe Music Festival at the Queenstown Winter Festival.

Groups featured include Garageland, Stellar and Delta from Auckland, Queenstown band Zero and Wellington's Fur Patrol, organisers said in a statement.

Fans can log on to www.queenstown.com to hear the concerts at 8 pm tonight, Wednesday and Saturday.
