Peter Jackson has finished shooting two Hobbit films back-to-back and is heading to the editing room with a December deadline looming.
Jackson has spent 266 days shooting two Hobbit films with a star-studded cast, and he took to Facebook to mark the last day today.

Jackson's comments prompted a flurry of 'likes' and comments from fans.
"I have been waiting 7 years for this movie, ever since I read the book of The Hobbit," said Zeynep Tekn. "I'm sooo excited to watch it, Peter Jackson is an amazing director!"
