Henry Cavill's "back up plan" was to be a soldier.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star admits he would have joined the British Armed Forces if acting hadn't worked for him.
He told Men's Fitness magazine: "Thankfully at this stage I've got my foot in the door enoughthat if someone tried to slam it shut, I could probably squeeze a little bit and keep the door open.
"As far as a full back-up plan, it was the British Armed Forces. But being 33 years old I think I'm too old to join now."

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old actor previously admitted he considered quitting acting to join the army until he got a screen test for the role of James Bond.
He shared: "There were plenty of times I thought it wouldn't happen. At one stage I was like, 'If this next movie doesn't do well then I'm out, I'm going to join the Armed Forces'.
"Then I got the screen test for Bond and thought, my name is out there now, so maybe I should stick around. And I did."
And Henry recently revealed he acts because "the money is fantastic".
He said: "I'm slightly wary of saying this, because it can be frowned upon, certainly by members of my community and people outside my community ... but I'm not just doing this for the art. The money's fantastic and that's something which I deem - and again, it is frowned upon - very important.

"You've got to enjoy life! I mean, you've got to. When I'm making money I'm spending it on nice stuff, whether that be lavish holidays for me and my friends or just seeing something and going in a shop and saying, 'Yeah, I want that for the house,' and buying it. Spending money on my friends, buying dinner for everyone, drinks for everyone, it's a nice place to be, and I like people to feel cared for."
