WARNING: Spoilers
Ryan Reynolds is famous for playing Deadpool. But in the sequel to the hugely popular superhero movie, the star also had another role that almost flew completely under the radar.
Deadpool 2 sees the return of a fan favourite — the brute mutant, Juggernaut, who was played by actor Vinnie Jones in the original movie.
This time around, Juggernaut is a hugely CGI'd creation, and fans waiting to see who had voiced him were left disappointed at the end when he was credited simply as "Juggernaut."
But the mystery has now been solved, thanks to screenwriter Rhett Reese.
At a recent press junket, Reese revealed that Reynolds himself took on the extra role.
"That was Ryan's voice as the Juggernaut," Reese told a press junket, "and he did the facial capture for him. I don't know how they did the physical mo-cap [motion capture] — I don't think that was Ryan."
Deadpool 2 is in cinemas now, starring Reynolds as well as Kiwi star Julian Dennison, with Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz and more.
