It's already been branded a "crazy" summer - and it's about to get even crazier.
The line-up of musical acts set to perform in Auckland over the coming months appears to be at a record high.
More than 60 shows are set to be held over the months of November, December, January and February - meaning there's the opportunity to attend one big gig every two days, on average.
And the list doesn't include March, which has shows by Bruno Mars, James Blunt and Fall Out Boy scheduled, as well as three shows by pop juggernaut Ed Sheeran.
It's so busy, promoter Brent Eccles recently called the summer period "crazy".
"It's probably the biggest summer we've had ever. And the [concerts] are all selling out so it's amazing," he said.
But the Herald understands it could get even busier, with more major concerts set to be announced in the coming weeks.
As it is, the four months of summer are rammed full of shows, with everyone from hip-hop head Drake to pop stars Harry Styles and Sia, folksters Fleet Foxes, and icon Paul McCartney set to visit.
There are so many shows, some are scheduled for the same night, like pop star Lorde, who has scheduled her Powerstation show on November 12 on the same night as visiting singer Khalid, who will play at Spark Arena.
On the day that McCartney visits, indie-rockers Future Islands perform at the Powerstation.
When Six60 play at Villa Maria Estate Winery on January 13, Vince Staples will perform at the Powerstation.
That's not all: the trend is set to continue, with shows by Lionel Richie, The Killers, Bryan Adams, Royal Blood, Niall Horan, Katy Perry and Pink confirmed for later in 2018.

It's time to plan - and, possibly, take out a small bank loan.
