Lego has announced the latest entry in its Lego Star Wars series, this time taking on the recent megahit film The Force Awakens.

The existence of Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens leaked early last night via YouTube and an Xbox product page, but the official announcement brought more details.

Developed once again by TT Games, the game will replicate and parody the events of The Force Awakens as well as filling in some gaps between the new film and Return of the Jedi.

Playable characters will include heroes Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and BB-8, as well as villains Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, and General Hux.

New gameplay features include "Multi-Build," wherein players choose between multiple structures to build; environment-driven blaster battles; and space dogfights, featuring vehicles like the Millennium Falcon.
