King Kong star Naomi Watts has given birth to her first child, a baby boy.
Watts gave birth to the healthy boy yesterday in Los Angeles.
Watts and partner of two years, actor Liev Schreiber, named the baby Alexander Pete Schreiber. He weighed in at 8lbs, 4 oz,
and measured 22 1/2 inches, Watts rep told Life & Style magazine.
Watts and partner of two years, actor Liev Schreiber, celebrated the impending arrival with a baby shower just last weekend.
An insider told Life & Style the birth was early. "Naomi was planning on giving birth next week-- her due date was early August -- but since she insisted on delivering naturally, she knew there was a chance she would have the baby before the due date. That's what wound up happening."
