One Direction will star opposite Danny DeVito in the music video for their new single Steal My Girl.
The actor is playing a director in the promo, which will reportedly parody the process of making a music video, and several behind-the-scenes pictures were released via the One Direction Twitter account.
"Most of the footage was shot on location in the desert... The boys hit it off with Danny immediately and he really made them all laugh. Louis mucked (played) around with him loads and started following him on Twitter so they can stay in touch," a source tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.
Both parties were clearly excited about the project as DeVito posted a number of snaps with the boys to his own Twitter page and Niall Horan wrote, "Can't believe that Hollywood royalty @DannyDevito is in the steal my girl video! What a legend! (sic)"
The promo will be released at the end of October.
