A friend of model Baylee Curran has cast doubt over her claims that Chris Brown threatened her with a firearm, saying Curran text him before the incident claiming Brown was "about to go down".
Curran told Melbourne radio station KIIS 101.1 she was at Brown's Los Angeles mansion for a"go-see for music videos", when she was threatened at gun point for touching his jewellery and told to leave.
Curran's friend, Christian Bonilla told TMZ Live he had taken her to a party at Brown's house but left early, only to get a text from Curran later asking him to pick her up after she was kicked out.
He says Curran texted him: "This motherf*****'s about to go down".
"You think he wasn't [targeted]? I think that f*****g girl needs to sit her a** in jail...she needs some help. He [didn't] do s***," he said.
And when TMZ asked if it was a matter of Curran trying to get attention, he answered "You know it is".
Rapper Ray J was reportedly at the house when the incident took place, and took to Instagram to share his side of the story.
He said: "I'm not happy with how things are handled and how people can take a false story and blow it up into something way more than it should be. You got just positive people around and you look outside and it's like a war zone for no reason. For what?
"Some strangers said something that don't got nothing to do with nothing. And to react like that, so fast, without really knowing the facts and knowing what's up, ain't cool. It's just not right. It shouldn't be like this."
