Meatloaf, or versions of this staple dish, have been around since the Roman times.
|500 g||Mince (Main)|
|500 g||Sausage meat, (fresh from your butcher if you can) (Main)|
|1 tsp||Fresh mixed herbs, (I used 1 tbsp fresh parsley and rosemary)|

- Preheat the oven to 180 degC.
- Beat egg and mix into the rest of the ingredients.
- Shape and put into a greased loaf tin.
- Top with swirls of tomato sauce. Cook for 1 hour.
