A rare six-litre bottle of 1947 French Cheval-Blanc wine was sold to a private collector for US$304,375 ($396,870) yesterday, setting a world record price for a single bottle.
The sale at Christies, Geneva, smashed the auction house's estimated price of between US$150,000 and US$200,000.
