Everyone hates parking tickets, but this one will leave you with a smile on your face.

At first glance, this looks like a parking ticket, but when you take a second look, it's something much better.

The tickets are being handed out on cars in Christchurch for "failing to display a sufficiently satisfied stomach".

It entitles the user to a serving of free fries from Burger Fuel.

Aaron Gardiner shared the image on Facebook, saying: "This is quite clever... Burger Fuel is giving out parking ticket style vouchers."

Burger Fuel has channeled our hatred of parking tickets into a marketing campaign.

But not everyone has been impressed with the Burger Fuel promotion.

"A few years ago I got one of these and only saw it when I started driving, I thought I had a ticket and went on a rant the whole ride home," wrote Gary Dooley on Facebook.
