Microsoft has promised reward money in a bid to crack down on unlicensed software use, which costs the industry about $28.5 million a year.
It is offering a $5000 reward until the end of the year for information that leads to the conviction of businesses running pirated Microsoft software.
It will also donate $5000 to charity for each conviction.
