IBM buys PwC Consulting

IBM has completed its purchase of PricewaterhouseCoopers' business-consulting unit for US$3.5 billion ($7.4 billion) in cash and stock.

PwC Consulting and its 30,000 employees become part of a new, 60,000-person unit, IBM Business Consulting Services.
