Hearing on empty retail space adjourned

North Shore City Council's hearing on an application by Auckland economist Josephine Grierson to refurbish the derelict former Palmers Garden Centre at Northcote was adjourned yesterday.

Grierson said she would provide more information to the council on issues such as traffic. She wants to create a 56-shop discount outlet like the Dressmart chain.
