Telecom chief executive Theresa Gattung has been named by Fortune magazine at number 32 on a list of the 50 most influential female executives running companies outside the United States - five places higher than last year.
Gattung, 42, is the only New Zealand executive to make the list.
She is NewZealand's highest paid chief executive, with a salary package of $2.82 million, 60 per cent higher than last year, beating any other New Zealand executive by about $800,000.
